Outtakes

This is a set of outtake videos that we had shot. This is outtakes from the first time we filmed before Matty went into hospital and outtakes from our second filming.

Final Piece

This is our final peice. We showed the film to our teacher and our fellow Peers so we could feedback on how they saw our film. The feedback we got was quite positive and I will explain more during my evulation. Our title for our final piece is "Withholding Information".

Original Plan

My blogger account wasn't working for the last week so that's the reason why I haven't been updating for a while. But we did finish our editing on the Friday lesson as I was talking about in my last post. After Matty doing his part of the editing we put in the music which was the finishing touches to our film. We didn't get to show off our film on that lesson.

Firstly, this is the presentation we had to pitch to idea to our teacher. I apologies for the delay of this post once again. Matty was the person on the right side Patrick was the one in the middle and I was on the far left.

Editing and Music

In today's lesson we continued editing our film piece. Our film is supposed to be a starting, under 2 minute, film. What one of the teachers feedback (Mr Wroe) was that it looked like an ending to a film. To rectify this we looked through our filming and found an extra scene where we show someone waking up after the titles. This was there just because we needed something to tell the audience that this is the start of a film and not the end.

For Matty to put in the titles we needed to agree on a places where the credits and title should be put so we went through the film to see which parts to put in the titles.

The plan is Matty will put in the titles tonight so the only thing we will have to do tomorrow is to put the music on. We have chosen the music, which is copy right free, but we will have to see if that will work with the chase. With the music we have found a heart beat noice which will play through the whole chase even when the music has stopped which we feel will build the tension to the climax perfectly.

If everything goes to plan we would have finished our editing tomorrow and show off our finsihed video to our teacher and maybe, if we have time, show this off to our fellow peers.

DVD menu

This is something that Matty had done a few weeks ago where we may use this as our DVD Menu. This was a pratice video that we were thinking of using but as we have had a few changes so this DVD menu may change.

Editing continued

I said in my last post that we were planning to do more editing tomorrow we have now altered that a bit as we don't have a lesson tomorrow and our free periods don't match. So what we decided to do was do more editing after school today. What we did is that we made sure that the film was under 2 minutes and edited out all the parts which we didn't need. While Patrick and I were doing the editing Matty was looking for music to go with the chase. Matty found 2 tracks which go together which we blended in to go with our chase. That is as far as we got today after school.

What Matty is going to do over the next few days is to put in the titles. He will be playing around seeing how the best way in putting the titles in.

Overall I am happy that we are on track to getting this done before the deadline passes. We hope that the the editing will be done by the end of this week so we are only left with the evulation and burning our film to a DVD.
